Societal Interaction
As a Strategic Research project, the WATERWAYS consortium places strong emphasis on societal interaction.
Consortium members contribute their expertise to decision-makers, authorities, and international cooperation bodies through participation in working groups and other expert roles. This enables a two-way exchange: project insights and emerging findings feed into these processes, while the consortium gains a deeper understanding of societal challenges and knowledge needs.
Below is a selection of working groups and expert roles relevant to the project, through which the project’s results are being integrated into Finnish and international strategic planning and policymaking. The list will be updated throughout the project.
